We put a lot of effort, research, pride and time into our queen bees.

All F1 queens are direct daughters of instrumentally inseminated breeder queens -

We carry a wide variety of instrumentally inseminated stock from the best Hygienic queens I have found from all all over Australia and we pride ourselves on the diversity of instrumentally inseminated lines we carry, produce from and use as drone stock.  The key to truly great queens is diversity of great genetics with less susceptibility to pest and diseases..  Our yards are all worked with just a veil, we pride ourselves on extremely calm and vastly superior honey gathering abilities.  any undesirable genetics are culled quickly to avoid contamination of the superior breeding stock we carry.

Our queens are raised only by grafting, using supercedure impulse in a unique method that not many use, we like to raise smaller amounts of cells across more hives as this improves each queen cells quality fullness of royal jelly which in turn increases emergence weight and size of queens.  we cull any cells not full of jelly at 5 days as this remove the runts of the litter should there be any.  we have done extensive testing and have consistent emergence weights of above 220mg.

We only sell 35+day Queens - this is scientifically proven to increase acceptance rates and lower supercedure rates. Try some for yourself witness the difference.and the increase production of a productive F1 queens that is less likely to supercede.
